When winter arrives, the temperature drops drastically. For thousands of homeless elders, women, and children who sleep on open pavements and flyovers, the night is a fight for survival. Extreme cold kills more people on the streets than many diseases.
Through **Rain Basera (Winter Shelter Seva)**, Umeed Foundation rents community spaces, sets up warm beds, and runs night vans to distribute heavy blankets, ensuring every poor soul has a warm bed to rest safely.
